1. Overview

MeetGold (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates meetgold.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service. By using MeetGold, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address, name, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Meeting transcripts: Text you paste or audio you upload for analysis. This content is stored securely in your account.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps — used to improve the product.
• Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
• Google Calendar data: If you connect Google Calendar, we store your OAuth token to fetch upcoming events.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve MeetGold's AI analysis features.
• To send transactional emails (welcome, action reminders, monthly insights).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• To generate AI-powered summaries using Claude (Anthropic) via OpenRouter.
• To display your meeting history and analytics in your dashboard.

4. AI Processing

Your meeting transcripts are sent to AI providers (Claude via OpenRouter, OpenAI Whisper) for analysis. These providers process data under their respective privacy policies. We do not use your meeting content to train AI models. Transcripts are truncated to 50,000 characters before processing.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — ensuring each user can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. Share page passwords are SHA-256 hashed. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — database hosting
• OpenRouter / Anthropic / OpenAI — AI processing
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting

7. Your Rights

• Access: View all your data in your dashboard.
• Deletion: Delete your account permanently via Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
• Export: Export your meeting data via CSV or PDF export.
• Correction: Update your profile information at any time.

8. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication (Supabase Auth). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — meetings, action items, decisions, embeddings — is permanently deleted within 24 hours.
